It’s the booids there coming to get me..!!!!
…and maybe a tad more working…
At the moment I am working on several sites all at the same time, not to mention the ones that I work with in my dayjob. My favorite site to work on has to be the munchkinworld.net playground site - where all of my ideas and layouts are starting to come together. But I often find myself working on secret projects that really are beginning to take up a lot of my time as they get closer to completion. I hope to show you guys the fruits of my labour soon - although with the amount of work that is still needed to get them complete - I wonder if they will ever be finished.
Aaah a nice cup of tea supplied by the receptionist. Good start to the day :)
Edit: ehem sales administrator…
The next few areas that I need to look at with this site are the illustrative addition of the munchkin himself and then the notes system and how to get that working… I saw an amazing implamentation on another tumblr site a whlie ago - I really must try to drag that link back up and take a propper gander.
Edit: Found it!!! http://markjardine.com/
Yep that’s right - first day back to work today, which means it’s mountain of work climbing day… Where to start? That really is the question.
Yes its that time of year again where complete strangers wish you a happy new year - so I am going to be a sheep and follow the crowd - wishing all that read this a happy new year!!!
Lets see what trials that this year holds for all of us.
Just thought id plug the other work that I am currently in the process of completing. CSSHideout is a long standing project and with finally managing to get some downtime I thought that it would be a good time to get this baby started up again.
The Rigger is a local rock venue and I’m currently re-designing their site and giving the whole idea of rock venue websites a overhaul. This one shouldn’t take too long to implement thanks to the greatness of code igniter.
After a short break for Christmas I thought it would be good to spend the remainder of my holiday finishing off my blog and portfolio designs (along with celebrating my 30th birthday). I think other than the illustrative elements that this blog is almost complete, it’ll just take a little time for that last 10%.
Trust me it’s more foggy than it looks. Really don’t feel like going out for dinner time walkies.
Icy icy cold… The view from my office window. Should I venture out for a sausage roll at dinner? At the moment it’s looking doubtful.
Tis what sheepish scrooge’s say - hehe.
Looking forward to the new year already - I’ll finaly have some time to work on the bulk of this site aswell as the many others that I have been starting.
Working on a site for a local rock/metal music venue and using codeigniter for the first time - wish me luck. Learning the MVC model really has a learning curve although I think its less of a curve than trying to acomplish what Im trying to using classic PHP. Its kinda like PHP with training wheels.
